Dr. Pamela Little serves as the Acting Dean of Student Support Services at Drake State Community and Technical College where she is responsible for providing leadership and supervision of all units within the Student Services directorate. Pam provides a wide array of services designed to enhance the college experience and to encourage leadership, innovation, and civic responsibility among the students. She possesses over 19 years of experience in higher education, particularly in the areas of enrollment management, retention, grant management and minority student relations.
A native of Sumner, Mississippi, Pam attended the University of Mississippi and earned a Bachelor’s in Biology and Master’s in Higher Education. She earned her Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership at Capella University. Pam is also a proud graduate of the Leadership Greater Huntsville Flagship L-31 Class. She is a strong advocate for helping her local community and serves as on the Board of Directors for Christmas Charities Year Round.
Pam lives an active lifestyle and enjoys running and group fitness activities. She resides in Madison, AL with her husband Patches and two children, Cayman and Kiersten. As an educator, Pam understands the importance of providing holistic support to students to foster success. She is honored to dance and raise money to help make healthcare more readily available for Huntsville’s school children.
