Bob Broadway was born and raised in Huntsville, AL. He is married to the former Julie Ragsdale of Jacksonville, AL. They met while attending college at Auburn University and have five kids ranging from 23 years old to 7 years old. Upon obtaining a BS in Accounting and an MBA degree from Auburn University, Bob began his career in commercial banking.
In 2001, Bob founded The Broadway Group. Following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps as a builder, he combined his knowledge of construction and commercial real estate to create a development firm to service national tenants. The Broadway Group’s major clients include Dollar General, McDonalds, AT&T, Fastenal, Cash Advance America, Little Caesar’s Pizza, Mayor Electric, and Michelin Tire. It develops properties in New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico. The Broadway Group now employs over 40 employees and over 200 contract employees.
The Broadway Group, under Broadway Construction Company, performs all construction aspects of these developments. Bob also owns an investment real estate firm, Broadway Capital Investments (BCI). BCI owns a portfolio of commercial retail and office properties in various states. Major tenants include Regions Bank, Wells Fargo, PNC Bank, First State Bank, TVA, and Edward Jones.
Once aware of the HEALS clinics operating in Madison County, Bob was eager to help support this important cause. A recent winner of the 2018 Daddy Dance-Off at the First Baptist Church “Father Daughter Dance,” he is excited about this opportunity to show off his dance moves and raise money for HEALS.
