Beverly Alexander is employed by Redstone Federal Credit Union as a branch manager. She was born in Ellaville, Georgia, a small town located in the southwest region of the state. Beverly is proud to be from an area which is home to great humanitarians like Former President, Jimmy and Rosalind Carter, and the late Millard and Linda Fuller, founders of “Habitat for Humanity International.”
Beverly is currently supporting local charitable efforts by representing Redstone Federal Credit Union as a member of their golf team. She has made philanthropic contributions to the local chapter of “The 100 Black Men of America, Inc.,” Muscular Dystrophy Association and United Way. Beverly has also enjoyed serving as a “reading buddy” in the public school system.
Healthcare is a passionate subject for Beverly. She believes that many people still take for granted the privilege of having medical coverage, yet approximately 23% of Americans are uninsured. Because statistics show that 1 out of 20 children here in the Huntsville metro area have no medical coverage, she is excited about showing support for HEALS. Beverly views this as a great opportunity to assist in their mission to provide free school-based medical and dental care to some of our community’s most underprivileged children.
Beverly easily picked up the moves with her instructor, Doug at Southern Elegance Dance Studio!
